Kate Lambie has been competing successfully in Eventing for over 25 years.

A career highlight was 5th Badminton CCI**** in 2002 and 18th WEG 2002. The dressage phase Kate received five 10’s which was pretty special!

Kate now trains young children through to adults and all levels from beginners to advanced riders. Also competing a team of horses for herself and owners.

In 2010  Kate ran the NY Marathon for CatWalk Spinal cord injury trust which she is an Ambassador for.  Kate wants to see riders looking after their safety while enjoying the sport.

Kate has become passionate about safety and is very involved in CatWalk  after close friend Catriona William’s spinal injury.  “I have always looked up to Catriona as she was one of NZ’s best competitors.  Since her accident Catriona has shown such selflessness, courage and determination in finding ways to improve the lives of people in a similar situation. For me, her accident hit home that this can happen to anyone, even the best.”

Everyday the CatWalk team are working together to fulfil their goal to help people living with spinal cord injuries get out of their wheelchairs and back on their feet – this is our opportunity to get behind them.
